We created a list of the most frequently used words within the Eldison platform for your easier navigation. The glossary contains 50+ defined terms related to employee equity programs, organized alphabetically. Key categories include:

  • Vesting concepts: Accelerated vesting, cliff, milestone-based vesting, pause vesting, reverse vesting, time-based vesting, vesting, vesting period, vesting schedule.
  • Equity types: Award, bonus swap, depository receipts, equity, phantom shares, restricted stock units (RSUs), salary swap, stock options, swap awards.
  • Company/employee status: Bad leaver, good leaver, eligibility.
  • Financial concepts: Buyback, cap table, company valuation, dilution, dividends, exercise, exercise price, exercise window, fair market value (FMV), fully diluted equity, initial value, valuation.
